Two Souls Unite

TWO SOULS UNITE
                                   
                                A dove plummets from the sky and dies
                                       Life goes on
                                Human forms pass by on the street
                                 finding emptiness along the alley
                                 taking that which can be got
                                Only to find it wasn't what was needed
                                       Life goes on

                               
                                The sun comes up over the horizon
                                 filling all with hope 
                                   only to go down
                                 Bringing the darkness
                                Lurking in the shadows, one finds existence
                                 The existence to be alone
                                until the shadows reveal
                                 another form of life

                                Now the two existences join 
                                  and become a force
                                the force gives love and hope
                                to the rest of the world
                                  pushing out the evil
                                    that once ruled

                               The moon and stars appear
                                 giving new light
                                To what seemed hopeless
                               Why do you ask, has this happened?
                                 Because of the love of two people
                                Burning brightly in the Universe.
