Two Sides

lets flip a coin you and I to see what happens as time goes by

if it lands on heads i turn away

if its tails then i will stay

you dont know what this means to me

going back and fourth is driving me crazy

should i run and hide away

or should i stand strong and take this pain

watching as the coin is tossed in the air

where it lands is causing me fear

i dont know what to do so i stare in fright

hoping it lands right

tears fall down my face yet i smile as an illusion of the pain

inside im dying as each second goes by

screaming so loud in my head saying "why???"

the coin is starting to fall i hold my breath through it all

it bounced off the floor and my heart clenched tight

im hoping with all of my might

this is my fault i take full blame

i shouldnt have started this game

but inside i know why i did

my heart wouldnt let me fold so i went all in

the coin landed on the ground doing its final spin

round and round then judgement fell and my heart........
