Two Peas In a Pod

The first war started millions of years ago when darkness tried to rule the
     world.
The fight between good and evil escalated down to Earth.
When humans were created two seeds were planted, one to corrupt each
     other,
The second one is to protect the heart and soul.
It depends on us which one will grow, then we surely will reap what we
    sow.

With two opposite seeds in a pod, humans are confronted daily
Which one do they want to nurture while the other one wither.
Because we are born with free will, most humans choose,
Greed, power, and deceit over humanity.

It is sad to witness that most of us choose our darkest side and love,
      prejudice, pride, deceit, and greed.
While our humanity perishes, the darkness grows stronger, corrupting our
      hearts and soul.
We have no more love for our neighbors, who are also our sisters and
      brothers.
Instead, we prefer to hate, killing each other with words, actions, and
      war.

Are we less compassionate than the animals of the jungle?
At least they only kill to feed but we kill for our greedy needs.
To some humans, the word humanity does not exist.
They prefer more bodies, land, and power on their shopping list.
