Two New Tanka

Tanka

Winter and cloudy
At the hotel by the sea
Misfortune and ghosts
No change for the gas metre
Long walks and bitter overcoat

Tanka
Anchored in the bay
The old ship tug anchor
No new charter
Abandoned by her owner
Humiliating rust drips.
