Two Moons
TWO MOONS
She is a sparkling sweet girl of just seven
I take her to a lake on a full moon night
Moon reflects on water, I say it fell from heaven
She looks up in the sky, sees the moon shine bright.
She throws a stone and ripples the still water
The moon splinters into many silver streaks
She jumps in delight looking at the dancing glitter
From two moons she makes many as one breaks.
