Two Loves
Two Loves

Life is but a journey,
in which we all must travel
with each wonderous miracle
like yarn it must unravel.
Some have only one soulmate,
while others might have two
when one door is closed
a window offers something new.
I know of such a woman,
to one man , his wife
40 something years
then sickness took his life.
How life changed within days,
left wondering, what was ahead
now all she had was memories
and a empty king size bed.
She sometimes cried to herself,
and she prayed to God above
to help her carry on
without her one true love.
The time began to pass much faster,
then it ever did before
and she began to question things
a little bit and more.
Before she had knew it,
a year had passed on by
but the emptiness still filled her heart
and still she'd sometimes cry.
Her family all stood by her,
they really loved her so
and she didn't have to question
how could she not know.
Then the night had came,
the answer she seeked so long
almost like permission
it was okay that she moved on.
A man now loved her once again,
the second to have her heart
and he loves her as much today
as he did from the very start.
She feels very blessed,
with love that fills her soul
for the love that she has now
came with the love of letting go.
