Two Lenses
I loved the game of potato sack
ever ready to pace, we were a small energetic pack.
jumping up and down to reach the finish line,
falling down, laughing out loud we did not whine.
a win or loss here did not matter
everyone enjoyed the game and had a hearty laughter.
I am grownup and fun in these kid games I lack
ever ready to pace at my work(or game) I do not want to appear slack.
jumping up and down I want to meet the deadline
falling behind I see missed target a crime.
a win here is the only thing that matters
my win is my only joy, losing out I turn bitter and I shatter.
