"two Leaves"

Your souls are like two leaves on a tree...
They grow together on a branch and see...
As storms and distress try to make a mark...
They cling together to the season they embark...
In spring they show their strength as it grows so strong...
Curled up high in the sky they flourish in the rain and
sun to a lovely song...
In the summer heat they press together for comfort and peace...
They display beautiful colors as the time passes through the
fall night breeze....
As they lightly drift from branch to branch till one day they fall...
But once again they land as one, knowing they still have it all...
What started as two buds on a tree, your love has grown as now
you lay together and free....
