Two Kinds of Friends

leaving me quite drenched she has snatched my umbrella. . . the rainy day friend we are giggling under a shared umbrella. . . best friends forever for PD's Haiku Contest (Inspired by Picture #4 which was a quote about friendship)

Don't talk to me about rain. My asthma is terrible because of the humidity. You must be a true friend to put up with an umbrella snatcher. Love, daver

This is adorable!! What a sweet moment. To answer your question, the painting I chose for Isaiah's contest was not one of the paintings he included on his contest page. None of those "spoke" to me, so I googled George Dunlop Leslie and found one I liked :)

Great one, Andrea. I liked how you stayed away from all the steam and slobber that we all incorporated in ours! ;) This is cute and lovely and full of warmth. Won't be surprised if you win the day with this! :)

I think this is one of my favorites so far for the contest... it feels more traditional to haiku was in the early days, and not so overly exaggerated in descriptive terms. A very adorable friendship... a real friend teases you and then soon make it up to you :)
