Two Hearts

Mom
And I
Together
The comforting
Rythmic beating of
Her heart touching my own
How precious she is to me
Loving companions in this life
There is no closer bond than we two
Would a Mother Betray her own Baby?

"Would a Mother Betray her own Baby?" Considering the first nine lines, I'd have to say (romantically) no. With drugs it might be different. For sure, I like your blending, your crescendo into the last line. Love, daver

Dear Robert, I agree with Linda-Marie YOU write with such Compassion Superb Write As for the last line ( for me the answer is YES) I doubt a Mother receiving so much LOVE from her "Baby" Could ever Betray Him ALWAYS YOUR POETIC Friend...HG
