Two Hearted

Not sure what hemmingway said, I never read much he wrote about      I fell in love with the two hearted, though not while fishing for trout      Paddling the river's pure untouched wilderness, at her own perfect pace      No sounds but those of nature, babbling currents, chirping birds, open space      Camping high above her lovely bank, just these two hearts of ours      Moonlit jagged spruce and balsam spires, Northern lights and meteor showers      A thunder storm blew through just to the north of our camp      We enjoyed it for hours before it moved in close enough to get us damp      What a perfect trip with memories made of gold,      Our two hearts intertwined to flow together until we are old..........
