Two Forces

The world’s aflame, with the winds of change,
Strong gusts, flaming the fire of transformation,
But the growing pains of rebirth, come at a high price,
For two forces, war for the souls of men,
Who will win?

Do you think the good guys always know who they are? Or do some fool even themselves? This has me thinking. Much truth here, well penned. Thanks for your comment. It is a pleasure to read and comment on your work. Love, Shar

This has always a war for the souls of men on this earth. The question of who will win will be mind blowing to many on the wrong side of the fence. I like the flow of the words and the essence of this poem. Great job! ~Joseph

Interesting piece to ponder about. I like how you ended this with a question. Much said in just five lines. Keep on writing! Karen
