Two Foot Deep
What human isn’t flawed?
Who’s integrity isn’t cheap?
The never ending mountain we all climb!
The never forgotten promises we didn’t keep!
Which person out there doesn’t cry?
Which person out there doesn’t weep?
This game of life plays right on by and from
birth you’re always losing sleep.
The dented body, the broken mind - we all
get them to keep.
Life drains tears from our eyes and we are
always in them two foot deep.
So, you tell me, who out there doesn’t cry,
who out there doesn’t weep?
