Two Dozen Pink and White

A mystery that kept me anxious,
a secret with one small hint.
You kept me guessing and you never gave in,
even when I tried to pry and bribe.

Two dozen pink and white
beautiful, soft and fresh roses.
I freed them from their cardboard dungeon,
and buried my nose in those pink-tipped petals.

This mystery that kept me anxious
was well worth the anticipation and wait.
With my face buried in pink and white softness,
I was on my tip-toes, headed to heaven.

Two dozen pink and white
beautiful, soft and fresh roses.
I can't stop smiling, Romeo, you've made my day,
and you got me thinking and day-dreaming in depth.

Your mystery, your surprise,
your thoughts show you care.
When the time comes and you're near,
I wnat to show you what you're beginning to
                                                             mean
                                                                   to
                                                                       Me!!!!

From a cheerful mood comes a delicious poem ... good treatment of the subject ... nice touch of imagination and seduction: With my face buried in pink and white softness, love always
