Two Delhi Monuments

KUTUB MINAR

               A
             Line
           Upright
           Reminds
           A slave
           A king
           A court
           Witness
           Intrigues
           Pitying
           Avariced
           Thrusts
           Miseried
           Minions
           Staring
           Baring
           Nothing

              LOTUS TEMPLE

                  Peacock
            Park.Touching turf.
       Gem afloat flowing grace
A pinnacle. Where is the prince.
 Claustrophobic confines open out now
Opened up. What vibrant white trance.
           I turn a clairvoyant
             I’m everywhere
              Peace, peace

Hi, Jag. Enjoyed both but the Lotus Temple really moved me... I think because you are so entrenched in the poem and I have had moments like these as well. Your readers can easily identify with the emotion you captured so well. Clairvoyant, yes, resonates! I hope you are well and that you have found relief from the heat wave that is causing such suffering in your country. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I read that a monsoon will help-- but not all areas. Praying for YOU...& your family
