Two Angels
I remember those summer nights of warm caresses
when father used to stand on the balcony and point
at those beautiful stars, full of stardust and shine
The way the breeze seemed to whisper to the trees
bringing over, a touch of melancholy and morose
making the morning glories close to heavens ope
Every songbird of daytime would perch and rest
as the fireflies flitted like the lanterns of night
bringing brightly lit smiles in a summer's eve
I remember the nights warm and true as we shared
a moment or two, before bedtime's renew
the pride in his eyes the look on his face
I remember everything I said to him that night
beneath the fantastical blue moon light
we were like to angels, gliding taking flight .
