Twisting of a Vine
Look at me an outcast, at least when I was with her,
my life was vast, But now she's gone, so I've gone no further.
Labeled by the clothes I wear, and the things I do.
Like when I grow out my hair, and I bend to kiss you.
My heart is in a noose, will you save it?
Will you cut me loose, and forever by me sit.
My heart's in the twisting of a vine, can you set it free?
Will you call yourself mine, and forever love me.
Everything is so confusing, I can't stand it anymore.
This battle I'm losing, I mean my inner war.
I will tell you everything, all one hundred percent true.
I felt the sting, when I lost you.
Your everything I miss, your everything I dream of.
I miss your kiss, I miss the love.
The way I saw your face, I held it on my fingers.
I think about how are lips embrace, and how the moment lingers.
So many things I wanted to do, all with my baby.
"Is there any chance," I asked you, and you said, "For sure, not maybe."
The sorrow still stings, it will never go away.
You still have my rings, why do they stay?
Life is one big regret, you can't go back.
So sad...yet, knowledge is what we still lack.
It is your time to choose, I will move on.
If I lose, it's because my heart is gone.
You said your biggest mistake in life, was to leave me.
You still say you want to be my wife, I'd accept definently.
But nothing will be saved by a knife, can you not see?
