Twisted
Silencing voices of reason
For hopes of conquering another season
Each day feels more surreal
Sometimes forgetting how it feels
To know another besides myself
Heaven knows of my trials
I dare not think such thoughts so vile
Twisted are my thoughts within
They come to life as I dance within
Praying a letter of reassurance
Maybe I'll live with pure endurance
Hush whispers of an unknown name
Comatose, with no one to blame
We know not love, only lust
Entrenched we must
Consumed with passion
Men are feeble: so easily deceived
We know not love: we protest too much.
