Twinkle
Rich, Famous oh so true
they get all the toys and sparkle
because of me and you.
So we’ll sit at our Screens
eating our beans
And wonder about their lives
and what it all means
We’ll imagine they’re happy
But life’s not all that it seems
We can’t fathom that they’re sad
When they’re living their dreams?
So I will accept a life simple
No caviar from jars
Forget the Red Carpet
and driving fancy cars
No mansion on the hill
or big bucks in the bank
But lots of good friends
and the Good Lord to thank
The world is my oyster
with a good women to Love
All Stars aren’t on the Big Screen
They’re in my sky up above
When you see my eyes twinkle
and the smile on my face
Follow my wrinkles
There my happy you’ll trace
I’m not chasing after glitter
Everything I need is here
I know what’s important
Those things I hold dear
