Twilight Chimes
As dark descends in silver shades of sleep
Moonbeams bloom in a million drops of dew
While blue winds blow and ancient willows weep
The sacred song of nightfall starts anew
As darkness deepens, so too do all my dreams
As I kneel in prayer beneath the evening star
On whispered waters, set sail on cerulean streams
Hear the echo of this poem from afar
Now close your eyes and breathe a gentle sigh
And listen close to nighttime’s magic rhyme
Let it lift you up to soar against the sky
Let it move you too, the sound of twilight chimes.
