Twilight

T ime of day I like best.
W hen birds are settling down to rest.
I walk along the water's edge.
L et summer breeze my face caress.
I nvariably I am alone.
G one are locals and tourists home.
H ave even sneaked a skinny swim.
T hese times my soul is one with Him.

Wonderful poem JEAN, I could see and feel the scene you depicted so well. Loved it.

The beach is Rathmullan, about 15 minutes drive. The closest to Letterkenny. Having grown up in a village by the sea, it's nice to still be not too far from the ocean I grew up with. At the far end, I can ensure no one will arrive upon me unexpectedly.

Lovely poem, Jean. I would have loved to be one of those nesting birds close by, while you were sneaking your skinny swim:):)
