Listen to poem:

Twice again

The day you meet; she'll count them once, then twice again Her love was formed; long before, their formation did begin On the hands and feet, she sees Perfect 10 after Perfect ten Mistakes you'll both make; but she will be there again and again No one gentler will there be; to touch your cheeks, nose, or chin. Unconditionally, understood; no one else will know you as deeply within For deep inside her heart; is the place where your very soul, did begin

"For deep inside her heart; is the place where your very soul, did begin" what a lovely and unique way of looking at mothers! Enjoyed this!

I find as I get older, recognizing and owning the fact that I have a atrocious relationship with my own mother, I truly appreciate seeing all of the good mothers that are in my life. A.S.

They are few and far in between my friend, I wish I could say I was writing this to my own mother, but unfortunately it's written to the good Mothers I know that aren't mine. A.S.
