Twenty-One All the Time

One of my many foibles is greed. I have placed myself in a bad situation indeed. If I only hadn't sat at this blackjack table today. My depleted bankroll won't permit me to stay. I am flummoxed by the way the dealer pulls twenty-one. That's it. I am over and done.

Oh Robert! This reminds me of my dad. He was always gambling and trying to win. Once he owed the govt. back taxes and borrowed the money to pay from the bank. He then lost it all in a card game. My mom was so mad and he kept saying he was trying to double it so he wouldn't owe the bank. Good one . God Bless, JB

Been there done that too. It took me one trip to the bank to get more and lose it quick... and my eyes opened to crude reality of gambling:) M.

Black Jack is Jack's mood after playing one too many hands! Good one, Robert! Peace, Gershon

The pitfalls of gambling are made clear in this clever verse, with it's flawless rhyme. Well done!
