                     Flared trousers
                      Platform shoes
             Long hair, sideburns, beards
             Abba and beautiful Agnetha
                    Raleigh Chopper
                       The Exorcist
                       Open shirts
                        Lava lamps
 John Travolta and Olivia Newton John
 Starsky and Hutch and Charlie’s Angels
                        Star Wars
                   Decimal currency
 Three piece suits, long collared blouses 
    Hendrix, Callas, Elvis and Bolan die
         Carry on films with Sid James
                  Brut and Hai Karate
              David and Angie Bowie
                 Margaret Thatcher
                   Workers strikes

Exorcist--Ah, I can hear Tubular Bells playing in the background!...greatest sound! I love the music of Grease...stunk at decimals while in elem school...ha ha. YOU captured it....I caught it! Great twenty-net form and content. Nette is a stickler in her judging. I have to rewrite mine. (smile)....High five! The eighties are STILL ALIVE!! Gwendolen

Andrea Dietrich April 30, 2011 at 4:21 PM a good approach, jack. I would have needed to do mine this way in order to get all the stuff in that I wanted to get in. But instead I said some things that took too manywords and I could not even get into my poem any of the cool names for movies or songs I liked, etc. I am posting mine later tonight. But I doubt I can do it to my liking. It's just too limiting with the number of words we can use. This was a fun walk on my 70's memory path. good luck in the contest!
