Okay, David. You hooked me. When I spotted the progression, I felt compelled to start at number one and move upward. I've read them all! A very productive response to a catastrophe. I especially liked number 14. Write on!

Thank you, Cona. I appreciate your words. The haiku I'm now posting were first written years ago, when my wife broke her leg a second time. They were written to pick up spirits, to add to the cast, to pass some time. There were days when I wrote several. We recently came across these in a journal we kept. I'll be posting what I can. When it came to the titles, as they were originally untitled, I got the advice to "start with One."
