Twenty Twenty

This new year I feel the tensions of taxes due While I resolve to complete them in time as Every year I procrastinate until the deadline is here. Now as this new decade begins I feel inspired To clean my clothes closets of clothes I never wear Yet can’t bear to part with though I am thinner now. Time has its wicked way of flying by so quickly and We are forced to face our future head on, to Evaluate our endeavors, accepting changes that Never cease to challenge us and keep us growing as my Tapestry of life lies before me I want to capture it in a book. Yes, I resolve making this a special year to realize my dreams. 1-23-20 Resolutions Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Matt Caliri

I don't envy you the task of computing taxes, Connie. Maybe when you finish cleaning out your closets, you could "drop by" and help me discard my old things. Your writing is always top notch! Love, Carolyn

Your tapestry of life is already mirrored in the poetry you share , Connie. Maybe its publication would raise it to a higher dimension. Good luck with all your plans:) Warm regards // paul

oh Connie, at first as I was reading it, I believed it to be for Line's paradox contest. You could enter it in that one too!! WELL DONE! I detest tax time and throwing clothes away.

Thank you Sandra. I never enjoy doing my income taxes. My husband helps a lot or I would be lost. I have just begun working on them. I appreciate your nice remarks on my acrostic. xxoo
