Twenty Third Psalm Poem
Twenty Third Psalm Poem
Change always will each tide
In me, God abides deep inside
Shepherd of my very soul
Go to heaven is greatest goal.
Moment by moment my God love
Father who will reside high above
Have needs and wants never do
His dreams for me all come true.
In my life, waters seem so still
Green pastures is where I will
My soul with God shall survive
With Him closely remain alive.
God directs me down each path
Free from sin and much wrath
And no evil did I ever fear
Knowing God is close and near.
Tough I often need self-control
God aids me in my death knoll
With long, slender staff and firm rod
Which is how I recognize God.
Mine enemies may often trouble me
Table God spreads I start to see
With oil He has anointed my head
Heard all my prayers I have said.
Cup of plenty ran onto the floor
God does flow through every door
Goodness in life continues to exist
In His home remain does insist.
