Twelvetwelve
I once thought in pictures that ran so wild and free
I once shared a picture that you couldn't really see
I used to touch the wind and I could reach the stars
I tried to turn them down because you reveled in the dark
I once leaked brilliant red to hide me from my life
You once asked me honestly if it got me through the night
I once gave you colors in a world of black and gray
You told me I was beautiful and I asked you to stay
When I ask if you still love me, I'm scared of what I'll hear
You can't hear me and I can't call you back by crying silent tears
