'tween Winter Scenes and Summer Blooms

'Tween winter scenes of sparkling ice
      and summer vales abloom
   Interjects late Autumn leaf-less trees
brackish ground, dullish skies of gloom

A heart can only bear so much
      passion's yearnings stilled
   Heaven, let your snowflakes fly
~ remove from us the chill

Gershon, this is a brilliant piece! As much as one appreciates the beauty of snowflakes, he's still asking magic hands to intercede, too much snow is no fun indeed, instead, give me sunshine and a bucket of crispy sunflower seeds! Just saying. LOL...ab
