I would not eat them, but you sure worked hard to get them (and hard on your poem). I remember my phase I went through three years ago when I picked dandelion greens to wash and then cook them up. I did not even like their taste, so I quit doing it!!

Andrea, Yes, gathering those greens then washing them through so many waters is very tiring. It has been worse though when we had to draw the water out of the well. I am glad that today we have running water. God is good in that we have modern convenient. Thanks for your kind review. I would think dandelions would have a bitter flavor. Turnip greens are good if you get them when they are young. Sara

I'm not too much on the turnips but the greens, bring'em on! I was raised on turnips and when i got old enough to say no, I haven't eaten them since. Not too fond of radishes neither. Enjoyed the read, Mrs Sara. Hoping you are well:)

Daniel, I was writing about the greens. We are not too much on eating the roots either but I will put a few in there with the greens when there are some but in these spring greens not too many roots and what are there are very small. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

Victor, I like turnips but they are a pain to gather and wash then to be cooked so someone else will be really happy. I can buy them in the store frozen and I am happy. The fresh ones are better but I am too old to be doing all that work. LOL..Your presence at my work is engaging. Sara
