Turning the Page

Do you remember Yoda from Star Wars ?
a jolly old being
yet he lived by reason
each of us learns lessons in life
some are being filled up in strife
still it's a one shot deal
the chance to roll the dice
so to everyone I say
to act your age
turning the page

many fight through vanity
drifting alone in our society
just like Yoda we can embark on a journey
to travel vast worlds unknown
love is a fountain that springs a new

we grew up hard and fast
a loving balance that would last
