Turning Point

In solitude they left me all alone, No one to wipe my tears or hear my prayer; I felt them leave me to the darkest night, My strength of pride could not confess my fright, Believing there was no one left to care Their sacred heart had long since turned to stone. In loneliness I found the time to think, To look for answers that made sense of me, Within darkness I saw thy silver ray, The beckoning light that leads me thy way, And in the distance I saw destiny, My goddess saved me from destruction’s brink. Now I know, when I see the moon above, My destiny; your legacy of love.
