Turning Down Starry Night
Van Gogh worked on his canvas
In his usual manic frenzied state
Which was better than his other depressed dour state
The orderlies were glad, they did not have to go in there.
He was entertaining himself in a terrific way.
He offered the painting to three or four of them.
They rolled their fingers around their ears.
As if they would take anything from this whacko.
None of them realizing they were turning down “Starry Night”
