Turning ...

I turned around
     in the rain
misty haloed street lamps
shadowed you
     drizzled

I turned around
     in my sadness
to see moments of we
fog smoggy
not in truth I don’t think

I turned around
     in your leaving
clarity spilling from eyelashes
wondering
     if you were simply a
state of mind
