Turn the Page

Close the book on yesterday's page,
usher in the dawning of a new age.

Spring to life with hope and time,
let freedom run free in open meadows of the mind.

Cast your fears and troubles aside,
lift up your head and turn away the pride.

Run your race with diligence and flare,
the game of life is to be played if you dare.

What is done is done and can be done no more,
seize the moment at hand and see what's in store.

Don't quit or give up, don't throw in the towel,
life is precious and beautiful and not becoming of that frown.

Set your face towards the purity of being alive,
breathing in every breath and feeling your heart beat,
basking in the sunrise of your life.
