Turn the Flame To Maximum

I boarded my hot air balloon And set my sights on high, I turned the flame to maximum And headed for the sky. Below, the land receded As I joined the mighty blue, The sky was my ocean, Heavenwards I flew. Earthbound things now disappeared I embraced serenity, As I sailed the atmosphere Contentment called on me. Alone, but not lonely, Detached, but still aware. Truly I'd found heaven, As I drifted in the air.
