Turn
Wake up,
I wash my face-
My fingers caress a visible wrinkle;
Where did life go?
The hand turns,
The heart beats,
In constant cycle,
Through this we lose ourselves-
We envelop ourselves in a constant cacoon throughout our life-
Changing us;
Turn,
Again,
Again,
What have we become?
A far cry from the soul we first blossomed into,
each and every one;
Turn,
Again,
Again,
We learn-
Though not always a concept involved;
The teacher of Earth wants us to change,
From every lesson,
Every-
Turn,
Again,
Again,
In the mirror-
I no longer recognize-
My life.
