Turmoil

Turmoil just settled over my eyes,

Now I’m praying I truly don’t cry,

One love, two love, three and then four,

They all have left,

With me shattered on the floor,

Six love, seven love, and then eight,

All they did was play a love game.

Sitting in the dark, I spot a little light,

But she was just a disaster,

Ready to take flight,

See there now, another has appeared,

One is him, two a her,

Blind waiting for each other.

Left out I stand, behind the movie screen,

Watching in the shadows for a love that could never be,

Confusion entered and intruded in my heart,

Of this game I’m just another part,

Discarded from the board.

Your love will win when your heart plays it's own game Jay. I love your complexity...J.A.B.
