GREAT acrostic, Alice. The wild ones, the males, are a beautiful bird and turkeys are also very smart.

Yes, they are smart, and as Franklin said, they are a respectable bird and an original native of America. I love to watch them in the wild. They often come out to eat the gravel at the side of the roads. Mostly hens, but an occasional tom, too. Thank you dear Daniel. :)
