Turbulance

We were flying high through the cirrus sky
Tomorrow’s in sight a perfect bull’s eye
All our plans in place, a future stellar
It’s all a breeze through our planes propeller

Vertical clouds adrenalized my heart
Something big was forming off the air chart
My co-pilot said I shouldn’t be alarmed
She explained we will surely be unharmed

Trust is lost as our plane starts to shudder
I see lies fly in over the rudder
Did she misread or trying to mislead
The result could be dire and both may bleed

Our love landed on lies and was a crash
Love scars led to a future with backlash

		or for the romantics

Our love landed on trust and was no crash
Our trust gave us a love life fun filled cache
