Tunnel of Light

A ticking clock in silence

Fading light, brushing

I am fighting my conscience

In this tunnel of my heart, seeking

For an answer of unasked question

For a reason to keep this feeling as mine

When I know keeping means excruciation

Still the question whirling, in this tunnel of my mind

What should I do with these feelings?

So forbidden yet so strong

Will you understand me even when nothing that I’m saying?

Will you embrace me or accuse me as being wrong?

By this tunnel of life I am standing

Wishing that I can travel through the life timeline

To find the right time, place and wording

To present my heart to you, my dear sunshine
