Tune Up

Come inside it's cold out The cabin's nice and warm The weekend forecast just came on They say a big snowstorm I'll get your booty slippers You change into your sweats I'll bring down your blanket And then you'll be all set Now give me your guitar there The one that needs the string I'll put a new one on for you And then I'll play something But first I have to tune them The body realign Make sure the pitch is perfect And then she'll sound just fine The tone comes through my fingers Sometimes a gentle touch Sometimes a vibrant plucking The choices vary much And if you want a lesson Just sit here in this chair I'll check on your Bm In case it's still not there I have a funny feeling It might not quite yet be I'll have to guide your hands again Relax now, just let me That's it you're doing better Don't stop now, get it clear My that's a lovely sweater And your neck is oh so near I'm losing concentration I'm in a zone of bliss Please don't be upset with me It was just a little kiss
