Tunaverse

A chicken that swims in the sea,
It's wild-caught, and yes, dolphin free!
Just don't ask the skipper,
What's happened to Flipper,
We'll keep that between you and me.

A good sushi's exceedingly rare;
Ahi tuna, the best to prepare.
When you're sick for two nights
Due to fish parasites,
Wild-caught horses can't drag you back there.

Now, I like my tuna pan-fried,
Grapeseed oil, and seared on both sides.
Now it cooks well past done,
And a bit more for fun;
No more porcelain pony rides!

LOL! I love limericks and just noticed your contest! I'm excited to give it a try! You are definitely a master of writing them! This one is hilarious! Not everyone can write a great limerick, but you certainly can!! God bless and much love...Meghan

By all means, come join us! Also, on the Forums/Collaboration, we've got a limerick thread going - come add a verse - we're up to 77 verses now, and we've gone all over the map.
