Tulips

---------remember haiku is for nature only ~ nature also has heart

                                 tulips are tulips
                          then come yellow daffodils
                            they dance in the wind

in the early spring~ they spring to life
tulips and daffodils ~ colors rife
in petals' splendor ~ their love unfurls
then one fades ~ other just follows

Nice I see why you marked it as other since it is two forms. Well done.

Both Tulips and Daffodiles are beautiful flowers that announce the arrival of spring. Enjoyed your lovely haiku and rhyme combination. All the Best in the contest, dear friend.

Jay, your intense and insightful poem with vivid imagery reminds us that haiku is solely meant for nature. It also highlights the fact that nature, too, possesses a heart. Good luck with the contest.
