Tuesday Is My Favorite Day
Tuesdays are my favorite, as today is Tuesday
and people seem happy and smiling, positive about
being here.
Wednesday is also my favorite for it is the day we get
to stay late and have a faculty meeting, and sometimes
they bring us chocolate candy, as an incentive to stay.
Thursday is my favorite for it is the day before Friday,
so excitement begins for a glorious weekend doing
whatever we want within reason.
Friday is my favorite because it is date-night day.
So much fun to watch the couples, figuring out
who has been together the longest, who is
in love, and that kind of stuff.
Saturday is my favorite because it is my painting
day, and my love my yard all day long day. I
count my blessings as robins and cardinals dance.
Sunday is my favorite for it is church day,
and the Christians are really nice to each other,
trying to impress each other, with their niceness.
Monday is my favorite, for I am back
at a job that I love every single day, after
successfully eliminating 27 jobs I did not.
