Trying To Win Her Back

My attempts at trying to win her back didn't work
I'd be lying if I said it didn't hurt
So now I'm at the club drinking and having a flirt
Because my attempts to win her back didn't work

Sometimes when it comes to love, our minds lack wisdom
When it comes to heartbreak, we all act different
It takes time for our mind to let go of the thought, and our heart to forget the idea
Smiling for the world, until I go home to wipe my tears

She wanted something different, I thought I'd Made my mind up too
She acts like she doesn't care, but she still hits my line up too
But She only does it when she's drunk, but I miss her when I'm sober aswell
Love songs and Vodka until I'm over this hell

I'd act like I don't care, but I'd rather be honest with my emotions
I may be hurt now, but my heart won't always be broken
I won't be down for too long, even though my attempts to win her back fell flat
Everytime I ever got knocked down, I always bounced back

My attempts at trying to win her back didn't work
I'd be lying if I said it didn't hurt
So now I'm at the club drinking and having a flirt
Because my attempts to win her back didn't
