Like the sun and moon
Like a mothers love

Like the tide, constant in and out
The relief of spring

give me the chance to try it out
give me space to take the first step
but stay close to catch me when I fall.
I am trying to love you forever
but you lie blank
unresponsive
uncaring
unloving
emotional coma
