Try To Catch the Wind
I sit and watch the sun go down
I think perhaps myself I found
This is the time when memories begin
I might as well try to catch the wind.
The skies grow dark I see the stars
I dream of Jupiter and of Mars
The moon looks like it has grinned
I might as well try to catch the wind.
It always starts as it gets dark
This emptiness inside my heart
Perhaps I think I may have sinned
I might as well try to catch the wind.
The sun comes up to greet the dawn
I can’t believe it took so long
The skies are where my hopes are pinned
I might as well try to catch the wind.
Things will come and go away
Perhaps it will be better today
The world shall turn my knees get skinned
I might as well try to catch the wind.
