Can we try again?
To go back when,
You were all I thought about,
And I had no doubt,
That you were all I needed,
To make my life completed,
At a time so simple and free,
When I loved you and you loved me.
I could not see what was right before me,
That our love was so simple and free,
There was nothing to do,
But love you.
Greed got in my eye,
As time passed by,
And before I knew,
You didn't leave me, but I left you.
Will you let me try again?
To return to a time when,
I needed you and you needed me,
And our love was simple and free.
