Try

If you could trade places would you could you?
Walk in my shoes a mile our two
Would they hurt you so bad you want
To take them off
Would you run our walk?

If you could stand tall in my shoes without stumbling
And falling would you put them on for a day our two
If they could make you feel what I am feeling
Would you keep them on longer to experience?
My past present future would you try

If you could take make fake all of the emotions
That come within walking talking in my shoes
Would you even try even if they are so tight?
Not the right size hurt so bad but in your mind
You’re saying I can break them in would you try

If you could be brave enough to put on
A front never having to look down
At a pair of broken torn not fitting hurting
Holey dirty cant paint them new shoes
Want to make you cry
Would you try?

If you could would you even try
